Valentine Show at Hard Rock Cafe CANCELLED
As most of you know, I NEVER cancel dates! Ever!
I've tried twice to play this HArd Rock Cafe in in GAtlinburg, TN and the first time, the talent buyer asked to move the date to VAlentines Day weekend
because I sing love songs and they felt it would be a great Valentine's DAy show.
So we rescheduled.
Then I got an email from a friend/fan who was trying to purchase tickets yesterday and they were told that there was ONLY VIP seating available
and that I would ONLY BE DOING A MEET AND GREET WITH VIPs and signing autographs for VIPs after the show!
As you all know, I HAVE NEVER TREATED MY FANS LIKE THAT,; HAVE NEVER EXCLUDED ANYBODY who wanted to say hello, get a pic with me, an autograph or whatever!!
I tried unsuccessfully to get them to change it and let me do VIP meet N Greet BEFORE the show so I could meet everyone else afterwards,
but it just didnt work out suitably for me or the talent buyer due to some stipulations made by management at the Hard Rock Cafe.
SO we mutually agreed that there will not be a Jeff BAtes VAlentines Day show there on Feb 11.
I apologize, and I'm truly sorry and a little embarrassed, HOWEVER, I REFUSE TO COMPROMISE when it comes to how I treat YOU or anybody else who comes out to one of my shows.
I love you all, and you are all important to me.

that's what I'm talkin' about...Jeff you are amazing!I love your music and YOU because you are 'REAL"...you don't put on a front and act like you are better than ANYBODY else...You are like my Idol....and I have seen you in concert several times and NOT one time have I ever been disappointed!!!You always make sure EVERY SINGLE fan leaves happy and with a smile!!!Keep on being Jeff!!!Love you man!!

Jeff you are an incredible person to treat all of your fans equally, you have no reason to be embarrassed it is they who should be embarassed for putting you in such a position. You took the moral high ground and I congratulate you on that. Your awesome and I wish you were coming to Massachusetts some time.

you have nothing too appolagize for my friend ,im proud too be a fan of yours when you stay true too what you believe in im good friends with luke and carey and plan too be at the show feb 18 too support you and them .look forward too seeing you

I am truly disappointed that you could not work things out with the Hard Rock Cafe, but I admire your integrety, so, I can't be mad about your decision. I hope your cousin Meg is settled in & feeling safe & sound. Hopefully I will see you in April @ Renfro Valley.

That is what makes you such an awesome performer Jeff, you truly care about your fans. I was sorry this has happened again. My wife and I were in Gatlinburg for the first show that was cancelled and was hoping this time we could see you again. You have always put your fans first and treat them as equals, that is what is makes you so great. We partied with you in the Outerbanks with station Dixie 105.7 and Senior Chief Rick Chamberlin. I stay in touch with the Chief and am always telling him, we need to get you back there. Keep doing what you do, because there is none better than you. You are truly the best there is.
