JEFF BATES’ “Riverbank” VIDEO TAKES NEW TWIST
NASHVILLE – August 19, 2008 -- Black River artist Jeff Bates has set the bait for his fan club. Bates, who is now beginning work on a new video for his current single “Riverbank,” put the word out to his website’s street team that he would like to do a video that’s driven by personal photos and footage from his fans. So he’s requested that they send in some of their favorite photos or video footage from time spent with their families. And the response from fans has been fantastic!
“Riverbank” tells the story of what might have been—about spending time with your loved ones while you can. And to Jeff the priceless times he spent with his father were on the riverbank, fishing. “Daddy would take me back through the woods to the river,” Jeff remembers. “Sometimes we’d set out hooks and catch these huge catfish. We’d take them home and clean them, and Mama would fry them up for supper. Those were some of the best times of my life. Just Daddy and me on the riverbank.”
Bates is currently on a coast-to-coast radio tour.
