9.14.23 - WEDDING BELLS
Country Music Artist Jeff Bates and long time friend and Tour Manager, Melissa Wyatt were married in a small, private ceremony on August, 19th at Reedy Creek Lodge in Bay Minette, Alabama. The couple celebrated with immediate family and closest friends in attendance. Bates’ daughter, Brianna, was the ring bearer for both Bride and Groom and long time friend and manager , Tony Conway, was his best man. Miss Wyatt’s life long friend , Ann Moody, was her Maid of Honor. When asked why the couple had not made an announcement prior to the wedding date Bates laughed and jokingly said, “As many times as I’ve been married I kinda didn’t figure it was big news!” Bates admitted that he’d taken a little flack from a few people for keeping quiet about the wedding plans. “I’ve got the best friends and fans any artist could ever ask for and I believe most of them are just glad to know we are happy!”, Bates said. “When I tell people we celebrated our honeymoon hunting Alligators on the Pascagoula River in Mississippi they all tell me I definitely married a keeper!”
