Hey everybody! I hope you are enjoying the new website!

For those of you wondering why the redesign, i wanted something a little more streamlined, mobile, and easy to use for Team Bates and I, and easier to maneuver for you all.

Thanks to those of you who have posted here and browsed the new site, and thanks in advance to those of you who will visit and post in the future!

We'd like to have your input! What else would like to see here, and we'd like your ideas for the new store! What items would you like to see here? What ideas do you have for Jeff Bates merchandise?

We'll be keeping a close eye on your comments to see which ideas and thoughts get mentioned the most, then we will see if we can make that happen for you!

Meanwhile, a big thanks to the city of Pelahatchie, Mississippi for having us perform at their annual Muscadine Festival today, and thanks to the 8000 people who came through the gates, including our own W.O.A.M!

It was great to share the stage withmy friend, Tracy Lawrence, again! And I made friends with and became a new fan of Troy Laz And 2 Hipnotic! What amazing talent!

Hey Jeff just seen your show for the first time in person down here in Vine Grove Ky just off US 60 at The Spot Bar and Grill on October 24th 2015. It was a great show loved it can't wait to see your show again. I was wondering could you let the wife and I know the name of the fella that was playing guitar with you and sang two of his songs, Jeff he is really good and we would like to know his name as you told us but sorry we forgot by the time we got home. If you see this soon and do remember I was the only one there wearing a black cowboy hat and a black western shirt with roses on it. I know there was a lot of folks there so you may not remember but though just incase you did. Ten years ago, you performed on the lawn of Maysville Community College in Maysville, Ky! I will never forget that perfect evening! You were awesome! My husband and I were on the front row; you sang many songs to us! It was wonderful! I have the signed CD and a signed case of the CD"Leave the Lights On" plus a signed jacket. Thank you for the wonderful memories and thank you for the many hours of enjoyable listening! May you continue to share your talent with others!

I just want to say how proud I am of you and your ministry. My favorite song is He Wasn't Like Us. That really made me see Christ in a more personal way.

Dear Jeff Bates,
In November of 2009 my son had me listen to the song, "Riverbank". At the time I did not realize how much this song would come to mean to me as a father. On January 1, 2010 my son Bradley Summersill was killed by a drunk driver along with his best friend Brian Walker. This song has been a constant in my life ever since. After my sons funeral, we started a non profit organization The Bradley Summersill Foundation. Through this foundation we help families who have lost a child under the age of 24 purchase a grave site marker, if they cannot afford one. This song is one that I sing at every fundraiser that we have and I explain how Bradley introduced me to it. We would like to know how we can get permission to have the song on our website since it so accurately expresses the emotions we feel. Hi Jeff. It seems like a lifetime ago that I had the pleasure of meeting you for the first time. You quickly became one of the most special people in my life and still you are in my heart after all these years. Our first meeting you leaned over the stage and handed me your guitar pick and I will forever cherish that moment. I want to tell you how proud I am of you for continuing to follow your dreams down this difficult and rough road. I am struggling right now. I have been recently been diagnosed with lung cancer that has spread to my brain and spine so I am asking you to put in a few goof words for me when you have time. It will be a long road and I intend to make every effort to see you again. I just have to catch up to Dorothy and Lee and maybe then catch up with you. Its sunnie from troy al. Staying clean is so much harder than I thought it would be. I did back slide once but I played your song second chances over and over and it got me threw ALOT of times I would of given in to the meth pipe. It's. Not just putting the pipe down, it's learning a whole new way of life. I've never been clean in 30+yrs and I have actually run in the house shaking cuz life was a pain and I wanted to use that as an excuse to use. But I played your song second chances and the temptation pasted. If noone give me a second or 100th chance. If no-one forgives the old me. I have to stay strong and deserve that second chance. So it may seem silly to some but you and your music are aiding 30 yr addict that everyone gave up on another day clean,another week clean. I can now look myself in the mirrior and the rumblings of pride stare back at me. Thank you so much for all you did for me at Troy church. God Bless

What a beautiful testimony. I pray you are still on the winning side. I know for myself how hard it is to stop taking meth. I took it for 22 years and I had had enough. I screamed, I cried out to Jesus whoever He was. Wasn't for sure at that time. Anyway He sent me to a Pentecostal revival and life has never been the same!! Has it been hard, you betcha. Has it been crazy, oh man. But I keep holding on to the hem of His garment and I pray you are too.

Bless you Jeff for all the hard work you have put out to all your fans, and ministry. God is good and in so many ways. I have always been a fan of you and your music. Your gospel songs is amazing I feel gods presence when you sing. I would like to thank you for visiting Mayfield Kentucky with Tracy, see I'm from Kentucky and the tornado hit us really hard,not only part of Kentucky suffered, we all suffered the loss. We are Kentucky strong but can only be as strong as people like you caring and loving hearts help. I live in a small community in Kentucky and not only did the tornadoes destroyed many, we are the town that lost our water source and was in a state of emergency. Our town was damaged for over 9 months, but with your strength and care we are Strong again. Thank you for caring so much for your fans,friends and family, maybe soon I can make it to one of your concert's haven't been in year's,we love you and keep making that music, his made a great Man .
